Calcio Storico Fiorentino

The Calcio Storico Fiorentino (Florence Historical Football), also known as Calcio in Costume (costume football), is a team game with a ball that has remote origins and today is one of the oldest Florentine traditions. The games are preceded by a procession from Piazza Santa Maria Novella to Piazza Santa Croce, where the playing field is set up.
